My boyfriend is in the US NAVY and sometimes he has to leave for months at a time. He is stationed on a submarine so you cannot send mail, and even e-mail
doesn't always get there. So, when he leaves I write him little letters and buy him cards. I find pictures that will make him think of me and put them into separate envelopes, marked with the week he is supposed to open them. This way he has something to open every few days! Also, cookies are always nice! I stock him up with baked goods from home.
